Jaanus Bicycles is a blog about cycle sport , cycling , mountain biking and also some information of the pro cycling scene .

Blogs, comment and opinions is featured here. My aim is to give a different take on the sport and sometimes have a look at things that might get overlooked by the mainstream cycle sport media.

Here are some of my take on cycling:

• riding a bike is a pleasure and whether it’s to the park or to work, biking is fun.
• pro cycling IS commercial. Early races were created to sell newspapers and now the sport sees teams named after brands and companies . It’s both sport and business, I prefer the sport but the business side is also interesting.
• despite money and commercialism the sport takes place on open roads, cities, towns, villages and fields which ties the sport in with many varied terrains and regions

One of the best things i like is to put out ideas and share thoughts and then let readers respond on comments or email .

This is a blog for all of us to ramble through things, share thoughts on different bicycle related subjects. So there’s no overriding aim. That said, many thanks to all the readers who visited here. Feel free to comment !
